The Studio

Dance by Carly fosters a family-like atmosphere that is devoted to the artistry of dance and performance. We strive to build self-confidence, teamwork, and drive within our dancers. Come join South Austin's premiere dance company that specializes in all genres of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, acrobatics, contemporary, and lyrical. We also offer an elite After School Program with pick up from neighboring schools, an exceptional Homeschool Program, our competitive High School Team, toddler classes, recreational classes, and adult classes. Many of these programs participate in our Winter and Spring Recitals. Our studio serves as a home for two year olds starting their dance journey, to adult movers looking for fun and fitness. 

 

Location and Facilities

 

Dance by Carly is a beautiful 4,500 sq. foot facility! We have 3 studios, all with 7x8 foot floor to ceiling mirrors, that run along the walls of each room.

Each room houses custom-designed ballet barres that are welded and attached along the wall. Our quality marley dance floor, which is standard for high-activity dancing, is in each studio. In addition, each room haas one to two 6x6 foot viewing windows that are only one-sided. These windows provide parents, students, and families with plenty of space to watch the dancers, without crowding around the windows and doors. Inside the studios, the windows serve as additional mirrors for the dancers in the rooms. We also have beautiful, custom-made, bar tops at every window for all parents who would like to work on a computer while observing their children dance. This has made our studio a very safe and comfortable place for dancers and their parents.

We have two spacious bathrooms, one male and one female, as well as two vending machines. Our dressing room allows dancers to change in their own private stall. In the dressing room, personal lockers are provided to the after school students to keep their belongings safe and tidy while in classes. With dance classes every day, the after schoolers can keep their weekly dance attire at the studio without it getting lost or forgotten at home/school. Our hallways are a spacious and wide, allowing everyone to get where they need to go without crowding the hallways. Some dance attire is also on sale within the studio.

Dance by Carly Studio was built by Rene and Celia Garza with Carly Bell in Oct. 2012 in the HEB Shopping Center. We have now relocated to 10203 Old Manchaca Rd.
